In the fast shutter speed photos Mitchell was having pingpong balls being thrown at him from various directions. this setting mad the pingpong balls look like they were stopped in mid air. For each picture there is a black and white version to show the effect of color in these types of photos. For the slow shutter, Cody and Mitchell were yet again having the pingpong balls thrown at them but this time if really shows the motion and path the balls took based on the speed of the shutter, and in this case it was slow. almost like slow motion effect.
long exposure
I took these images of Mitchell to portray Long exposure off of my phone. We threw pingpong balls at his to show the motion of the ball moving towards Mitchell.
Painting with light
During this project we used many colors to represent different moments of light to create these elaborate pictures to show motion. My favorite picture is the middle one of the figure of the person. This photo shows the ciliate of a person with a green light. The lights rapped around the person makes the photos color more balanced.
Kaleidoscope
Aperture
In the photo of the shells I used a shallow depth of field so that I could focus more on one shell with all the other shells shadowed in the background. In the image of cameras in the bottom left corner was a larger depth of field because there is no real focal point it just fades out. My best photo is the dice. This is because it really emphasizes the shallow depth of field with the dice being in the front.
Strongest & Weakest
Within term 2, I have come to notice what my strongest picture was and what my weakest picture was. My strongest picture is the dice in aperture. this is my strongest picture mainly because I believe I captured the idea of what aperture should look like. The focal point of this . picture was the dice right in the front. the idea was to have the lighting only be on one side so it could make a shadow for the other. The back ground was blurred just enough so still be able to identify what they were. I tried to keep the color the same so it could capture the colors of an actually dice as-well. For my weaker picture, i choose this one because iyt really didn't stand out all that much, there was kind of a lot of open space in it and its basically just 2 colorful lines running across the screen. I feel as though i did capture the kaleidoscope look as well as i planed.
